Qualcomm Snapdragon865

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Processor was first showcase in December 2019.

It is made for mobile platform.which is generally used by smartphone companies in Android smartphones as well as Tablets.

It is the successor of Snapdragon 855+ or 855 and based on 7nm technology.

The 'Prime core' offers up to 2.84GHz Which ARM Cortex-A77 with 512kb L2 memory cache for peak performance and other Power efficiency cores are same as Snapdragon 855.The four ARM Cortex-A55 which offers upto 1.8GHz with 128kb L2 cache.

The new SD865 does not integrate an LTE modem but has to be paired with the new X55 5G modem,that also support LTE Cat 24/22.The Wifi module however still integrated and called FastConnect 6800 which support Wi-Fi 6(802.11ax) and 8x8 MU-MiMU and 60GHz 802.11ay with up to 10Gbps.

Bluetooth 5.1 is also supported in luring aptX Adaptive.

The GPU Adreno 650 is 25% better than Adreno 640.

The SD865 is 7% better performance or 10%  power e
than SD855
